Audiences frequently comment on the sound of the band.  They commonly say that when the band plays a song it sounds like the original artist performing in the studio.  Club staff and customers also remark on the absence on painful volume, common with other bands.  Electric Carnival is never TOO LOUD

Question :
How does Electric Carnival get "The Sound"?

Answer:
Outstanding musical talent and cutting edge technology.!

Carni
All of the technology in the world can't help an inexperienced musician or band that simply can't play together.  EC has almost 100 years of collective musical experience.  This enables the band to learn and perform musical material that is simply beyond the abilities of other groups.  Creative contemporary and faithful original arrangements are executed with exceptional precision and energy.  EC not only plays the 'notes' but captures the very spirit of every song.

Adding to EC's exceptional musical skills is a remarkable sound system that is comparable to the finest regional and national acts touring today.

The core of the system comprises two components, a professional in-ear monitoring system and a high fidelity PA system.  The in-ear monitor system allows the band to 'hear' every instrument and voice.  The audience never hears the monitor mix because there are no stage monitors.  All instruments are plugged directly into the mixing console or isolated and miked.  This makes every performance an exceptional sonic experience for the band and the audience.

The high fidelity PA system, is configured using professional grade equipment.  From speakers to amplifiers, mixing boards to signal processing equipment the PA system is ready for any size event or venue.  A dedicated sound engineer operates the PA at each show.
